I am a book designer who has worked on over 1,000 titles for Macmillan Publishing, including many bestsellers. I also photograph plant-based foods for outlets like VegNews magazine, Vegan Food and Living, and the United States Humane Society.

As a writer, my fiction and humor have appeared in various literary journals and websites including McSweeney’s, Hobart, Elimae, and others. The journal I founded and edit, Monkeybicyle, published works from established writers like Roxane Gay, Steve Almond, Samantha Hunt, and many more. Pieces from it were also selected for inclusion in several anthologies such as The Best American Nonrequired Reading, the Wigleaf Top 50 Very Short Fictions, and others. My recent writing about film has been published by Taste of Cinema and the Montclair Film Festival where I worked as a correspondent.

If you couldn’t tell from the “plant-based” mention above, I am a decades-long vegan and enjoy—as much as anyone can—distance running. I currently live in Montclair, New Jersey, with my wife and our cat.
